Tony Succar + Mixtura

Tuesday’s SPAC on Stage Video Preview

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Latin Grammy® nominee Tony Succar fuses an irresistible mix of exuberant afro-latino inspired music, the seductive rhythms of salsa, and the energy of jazz and pop beats. According to Miami New Times, “If the King of Pop had ever produced a Latin album, it probably would have sounded a lot like the Magic City’s Tony Succar.”

Well, why tell you when we can show you?

Tony Succar + Mixtura will perform on Tuesday, July 23rd at 8 pm, at the latest edition of the ‘SPAC on Stage’ series, in which an intimate audience of about 350 surround and share the stage with cutting edge performers, who often are making their SPAC debut, as is the case here. A limited number of tickets remain – follow this link to get yours:

Born in Lima, Peru and raised in Miami, Florida, Succar is grateful to come from a family of musicians. That early musical influence he had was the basis that the precedent laid for what was to come. “I was privileged to grow up in a family of musicians: I couldn’t be more grateful,” Succar explains. His gratitude goes beyond being only for those in his family who have supported and encouraged him, he also goes to his fans, fellow musicians, teachers and other influences he has had throughout his musical career.

The band’s latest release, “Mas De Mi, “ showcases their original composition and arrangement excellence. Here’s a trailer for the EP, and a music video of their single, released last week:

Case closed! You want to be at SPAC, on stage, for this tomorrow night.
