Next Friday, July 8, THE REFRIGERATORS will perform from 7:30-9:30 pm at Shepard Park in Lake George. The Refrigerators have been the most popular band in the Capital District for the past 26 years. They were the first horn-fueled party band and were the inspiration for other bands such as Ten Most Wanted and New York Players. Year after year, they won “Top Band” in the Capital Region reader’s poll awards in the Times Union, Metroland, etc. While it is tough to stay “on top” for three decades, that is just what the Refrigerators have done as they continue to be the most in demand band in the region.
An offshoot of The Refrigerators, Jett Screamer, opens the show from 6-7:10. Friday, July 8, will be the party of all parties. It is free to the public and there will be vendors selling food and beverages.
