Cassandra Kubinski’s previous Capitol Region appearances include multiple shows at Caffe Lena and for Sing in the Streets, the downtown Saratoga music festival; the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation Virtual Holiday Homes Tour; airplay on WEXT and WEQS; and performances at Wildwood School in Schenectady. She co-wrote “The Music Lives On”, a song for Caffe Lena’s Annual Fund Drive.
She’ll bring her signature piano-based acoustic performance of songs from her Billboard-charting EP Holiday Magic, songs from which are featured on Pandora’s “Today’s Top Christmas” playlist alongside Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, and Sia.
Piano man Billy Joel has this to say about Kubinski:
“Cassandra Kubinski is very similar to the singer/songwriters of the late 70’s…proves that the genre (singer/songwriter) can still be transcendent.” – Billy Joel
Marcus Ruggiero is a Los Angeles International Film Festival award winning songwriter from Schenectady, residing in Saratoga Springs. He’ll perform some holiday favorites, and songs from his extensive catalog of original music that he’s performed from Saratoga’s City Center, to Lake George and beyond.
Audiences can expect a festive atmosphere, over an hour of holiday and original songs, and an opportunity to purchase bespoke artist merchandise and holiday gifts.
