Grammy Winner Larry Gatlin Headed To Wood Theater

GLENS FALLS – Grammy Winning Grand Ole Opry Star, and Nashville Songwriters Hall Of Famer, Larry Gatlin (Of Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers) brings his iconic hits to the stage of the Wood Theater on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 3pm. As part of Kevin Richards’ Country Concerts ‘Close Up’, Larry steps in the spotlight to sing Gatlin Brothers favorites like, ‘All The Gold In California’ ‘Broken Lady’ ‘Houston (Means I’m One Day Closer To You)’ ‘Night Time Magic’ ‘Statues Without Hearts’ ‘I Just Wish You Were Someone I Love’ and many more of their 32 Top 40 Records.

ACM Male Vocalist of the Year, Larry Gatlin, led his brothers to several CMA & ACM nominations for Vocal Group Of The Year, and 5 BMI ‘Million-Air’ Awards. His songwriting credits are legendary! Larry Gatlin ranks 4th as solo writer’s with the most self penned Top 40 Billboard Hits. His songs have been recorded by everyone from Elvis Presley, Barbara Streisand, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Tom Jones and Glen Campbell- securing his legacy as one of BMI’s Top Solo Songwriters of All-Time!

The show starts with Classic Country favorites from one of the North Country’s best traditional groups, Whiskey River- followed by an Up Close & Personal Interview with CMA Winner Kevin Richards.

Following the success of two sold out Randy Travis shows (9/11/22), Kevin Richards’ Country Concerts ‘Close Up’ announces more Grammy & CMA Nominees and Winners to play intimate shows at the Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls, NY. Kevin Richards, 7 Time CMA Broadcast Nominee and Winner, launched the series with Grammy Legend Randy Travis in September. Richards’ mission is to put talented throwback singers and songwriters back in the spotlight, up close and personal, in a charming hometown atmosphere, where you can see and hear every note.
