Santa Claus Returns To The 31st Annual North Country Festival Of Trees Presented By Berkshire Bank

Santa Claus will be returning to the 31st Annual North Country Festival of Trees, presented by Berkshire Bank, to be held on November 25th to November 27th, at the beautifully renovated Queensbury Hotel, 88 Ridge Street, Glens Falls, New York. The Festival benefits Prospect Center, an affiliate of the Center for Disability Services. General Festival Hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25th and Saturday, November 26th, and 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 27th. The General Festival includes: trees, wreaths, kissing balls, stockings, centerpieces, etc. sales; artisan/vendor boutique sales; a raffle and entertainment.
Returning this year will be two breakfasts with Santa Claus, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 26th and Sunday, November 27th. During breakfast, children can enjoy photos with Santa and children’s activities, including letters to Santa, holiday cookie decorating, ornament making and face painting. Photos with Santa Claus and the children’s activities will also be available during the General Festival on Friday, November 25th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
There will be no fee for the General Festival, since the format will again be a “boutique shopping experience,” where festival goers can come to view and immediately purchase over 100 beautifully decorated items, as well as the wonderful wares for sale by local artisans/vendors. The fee to attend Breakfast with Santa will be $20.00 for adults, $15.00 for children, with no charge for children 2 years of age and younger. There will also be a fee for photos with Santa Claus as well as the children’s activities.
Calling all designers and boutique artisans: They have trees and wreaths available for pick up to be decorated. You can schedule a pick up of your tree(s) and/or wreath(s) by calling Kim Heunemann at (518) 742-0102 (mobile) or (518) 832-6113 (office), or by emailing her at heunemann@cfdsny.org.
