Gallery: Siro’s Cup 2022 – July 13

SARATOGA SPRINGS – In the realm of Saratoga summer season events, there are many that are worthy of championship trophies. But only one has the Cup, and it is here.
It is Siro’s and the Center for Disability Services to claim, to raise high. And after a two-year odyssey – a small off-premise, fully-masked gathering in 2020, which just served to keep the modest flame of hope going; followed by a “fingers-crossed,” gingerly dip-your-toe-in-the-water capped capacity return in 2021; on July 13, 2022 the cap come off and a grateful sea of enthusiastic humanity once again flowed….

It was completely stunning to see, experience, and photograph for the record. I hope you enjoy this gallery, but first, let us raise the Cup once to each of the 2022 honorees:
- Jockey Joel Rosario
- Philanthropist William (Bill) Lia Sr., (posthumously)
- Racing Artist James Fiorentino
With full hearts, and (for the moment) untouched bankrolls, you raised the Cup high once more, as high as ever, to welcome another Saratoga racing season in style!
