This Wednesday…. You Know Where!

SARATOGA SPRINGS – The 29th annual The Shoppes at Newton Plaza Siro’s Cup to benefit the Center for Disability Services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. The fundraising party, held on the eve of opening day at the Saratoga Race Course, begins at 6:30 p.m. at Siro’s Restaurant, 168 Lincoln Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY. At 7:30 p.m., there will be a presentation to the evening’s honorees: 2021 Eclipse Award Outstanding Jockey, Joel Rosario; philanthropist, friend and longstanding supporter of the Siro’s Cup and the Center for Disability Services, William (Bill) Lia, Sr. (honored posthumously); and Artist James Fiorentino, who has provided original paintings for the Siro’s Cup Awardees for the past 20 years.
The event will welcome notables from the world of horse racing. Guests will dance to music from the Siro’s House Band until 11 p.m. The evening includes light fare created especially for Siro’s Cup by Chef Elliott G. Vogel, an open bar, and an online auction where people can bid on the Center’s website at cfdsny.org. Siro’s Cup is held rain or shine and walk-ins are welcome.

The popular event is a benefit for the Center for Disability Services Foundation, Inc. For 80 years, the Center, known as the place “where people get better at life”, has been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. We are committed to the well-being of the people we support, while providing opportunities which lead to independent lifestyles. For a weekend, a week, or a lifetime, in your home or ours, the Center for Disability Services is here for you.
Honorary Chairpersons are Christine & George R. Hearst III, Sara Lee & Barry Larner and Eric Larner.

Tickets are $150 per person and are available online at cfdsny.org or at the door the evening of the event. Sponsorships are still available!
