Two days, Two stages and 24 bands!
SARATOGA SPRINGS – Saratoga Performing Arts Center announces the return of the full Freihofer’s® Saratoga Jazz Festival on June 25 & 26 with two days, two stages and 24 bands playing everything from jazz to blues, funk, Latin and beyond. Celebrate the return of “the hang” with an arts and crafts fair, southern-style BBQ, an oyster & seafood bar, or bring your own picnic.
Artists include: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and soul legend Booker T. Jones celebrating the iconic Stax Record label, the New Orleans Funk powerhouse band Galactic featuring the incredible vocalist Anjelika Jelly Joseph, the famed Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, hot Latin groups Tiempo Libre and Con Tumbao, Indian bhangra soul band Red Baraat, and some of most talented jazz artists today: pianists Matthew Whitaker, Connie Han, and Amina Figarova, saxophonist Craig Handy, vocalist and violinist Emmaline, drummer Matt Wilson, trombonist Ryan Keberle, guitarist Dan Wilson and Ozmosys featuring drummer extraordinaire Omar Hakim and keyboard master Rachel Z.
