SARATOGA SPRINGS – Though few cashed tickets on the big race this afternoon (5/7/2022), it is a safe bet to say that everyone in attendance at The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame’s sixth annual Kentucky Derby party left feeling like a big winner.

Correspondent Jill Perkins was there for all the action – at Churchill Downs, and on Union Avenue. She notes, “Everyone was excited to be dressed in their Derby best, mingling and sampling all the goodies from the some of our finest local establishments. The anticipated race brought everyone to their feet in one of history’s most thrilling Derby’s and biggest upsets ever.

“What a story, what a race! Well deserved congratulations to Team Rich Strike!”

Indeed. All proceeds from this fundraising event will support the Museum’s educational mission and allow for exciting exhibits and programming year-round. Enjoy the gallery.
