12866 – Celtic Treasures, 456 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, one of the largest importers of Irish gifts in Upstate NY, is turning 30. To help commemorate this signature milestone, the business is celebrating in Irish style throughout March!
The official birthday weekend is Friday, March 11 through Sunday, March 13, and all three weekend days offer something for everyone to enjoy. On Friday, the Celtic group Mad for Trad will be performing from 4-7pm while shoppers enjoy 20% off crystal, china, and pottery. On Saturday, it’s Kevin McKrell at Celtic Treasures from 12-3pm, telling stories of his unique-style art. Kevin’s artwork will be featured on display throughout the store through March 31. That afternoon there will also be an artist reception with Covid-safe food offerings. In combination with the art reception, Celtic Treasures will be offering shoppers 20% off all sweaters. On Sunday, visitors will enjoy the Irish music trio, Six Penny Bit, from 1 to 4pm, while taking advantage of celebratory savings of 30% off all jewelry.
Other anniversary month weekend specials include the Branigan Weavers Cape Sale on March 5th and 6th and the “Anything Green T-shirt Sale” March 19th and 20th. Both weekend sales events will include 20% off the featured merchandise as well as 20% off all compact discs.
Paul’s mother Annie hails from County Cavan, Ireland, and has been a major inspiration from day one. His father Eddie has provided hands-on assistancewith bookkeeping and is known as their CFO or “Celtic Financial Officer”. Working directly with Irish manufacturers, Celtic Treasures offers some of the most-hard-to-find Irish Gifts both in-store and on their website.
