LOCAL TEQUILA BRAND APPEARS IN NEW NETFLIX MOVIE “DON’T LOOK UP”

In “Don’t Look Up” Cate Blanchett’s character fortifies herself by swigging some One With Life Tequila straight from the bottle!

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Locally owned One With Life Organic Tequila brand owner and founder, Lisa Elovich, was enjoying some well-deserved R & R in Florida when she received a wonderful surprise Christmas present.  Her phone blew up all of a sudden with text messages from a group of friends, all excited to tell her that her small batch woman owned Tequila brand was very visible in the new Netflix movie Don’t Look Up. The movie, released on Christmas Eve, features a tremendous all-star cast, including: Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett, Tyler Perry, Meryl Streep, Ariana Grande and Jonah Hill. 

One With Life Tequila goes to Hollywood!

“So naturally, I had to see what they were talking about,” Lisa Elovich said. After preparing some popcorn and beverages, “…I was watching the movie, and there it was! On Christmas, no less.”

“I nearly fell out of my seat with excitement!” said Elovich.  It was perfect timing to give my small business the encouragement that my team and I need to keep moving forward despite being surrounded by competition from mega corporate owned brands.  This was definitely a wink from the Universe/Santa.” she concluded.

Indeed, product placement in Hollywood movies is a big-bucks business, completely out of the reach of most independent entrepreneurs. “I feel like this is a Christmas miracle for our Saratoga=based brand.” Lisa Elovich noted.

She remarked further that the premise of “Don’t Look Up” is about seeking truth and recognizing the sacredness of life and the environment, which is in lock step with the One With Life philosophy. In the movie, two astronomers (DiCaprio and Lawrence) go on a media tour to warn humankind of a planet killing comet heading straight for Earth. The movie seems to stress the need to focus on what is right in front of you rather than burying your head in the sand. Elovich continued, “The mission behind our environmentally friendly, sustainably farmed, additive free tequila brand is to share the message of what it means to be “one with life”,  We use the bottle as a vessel to share a message of being fully engaged in the present moment. When you are in the present moment, you are no longer lost in thought and can focus on what needs to be done.” 

Don’t Look Up was released on Netflix and select theaters on December 24th .
