Plant Wishing for America

SRO Gathering for CulinaryArts@SPAC’s Plant-Based ‘Fall Flavor Fusion’

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Some Presidents pardon a turkey or two. These folks want to give a reprieve to several entire species!

With the controlling concept of ‘What’s good for our planet shall also be pleasing to the palette’ a sold out gathering of progressive diners were treated to a five-course plant-based dinner dubbed “Fall Flavor Fusion.” The site was Saratoga Performing Arts Center’s Nancy DiCresce Room in the new Pines@SPAC facility on Saturday, November 20, and was presented by CulinaryArts@SPAC.

Special Guest Chefs Jehangir Mehta and Michael Blake collaborated with Chef-in-Residence Kim Klopstock on a festive autumn feast that featured plant-based courses juxtaposing temperatures, textures and tastes with flavors from all around the globe.

Even though the event was sold out, we saved a place for you at our table, via this lovely gallery provided by SPAC and Photographer Lawrence White. Enjoy it, and watch this space for details about the next CulinaryArts@SPAC-venture!
