SARATOGA SPRINGS – With apologies to the Jeffersons, they’re Movin’ On Up – but not to the East side…

But with one ribbon-snip, on Friday. November 19, Franklin Community Center (FCC) significantly upgraded and expanded their facility to serve the ENTIRE community with the re-dedication of 95 Washington Street – less than a decent frisbee throw from their existing digs on Saratoga Springs’ West side.

A robust crowd gathered to view and cheer the former Masie Center transition to The Michael and Stacie Arpey Family Community Center at FCC. The Arpey’s generous gift of $1M facilitated the purchase of the building, adding much-needed space to grow FCC’s programs and expand their services in the community.

The public is invited to see the impact of the Arpey’s (and your own) contributions at a guided tour of The Michael and Stacie Arpey Family Community Center on Tuesday, November 23rd. FCC will be offering tours from 11 a.m. -2 p.m..  You’ll get an opportunity to see the new space, learn more about FCC’s newly expanded programs and meet the staff that help to make a difference here in our community.
