Saratoga Springs, NY – July 19, 2021 – The Racing City Chorus returns to Broadway, Saratoga Springs for six consecutive Thursday evenings from July 22-August 26 during Racing Season to entertain summer crowds with their A Cappella “Barbershop-style” singing. Performances will begin at 7pm and continue at a variety of sponsored downtown venues until 9pm.

“Racing is back in Saratoga Springs and so is ‘Barbershop on Broadway performed by the Racing City Chorus,” said Rusty Senecal, Racing City Chorus President. “The Chorus will be entertaining crowds from all walks of life who love to hear barbershop a cappella harmony being sung on Broadway. The Chorus entertains visitors with a wide variety of songs enjoyed by all. One of the most rewarding things we do is sing to audiences and experience the positive responses it creates in youngsters and adults. We have had people from many different states and countries tell us how much they enjoy our music. We look forward to entertaining again this year thanks to our sponsors who make this possible.”

The Racing City Chorus is a men’s singing organization that meets regularly to practice, perform, socialize, and have fun. They currently have over 25 singers from all walks of life and all parts of the Saratoga Springs/Capital Region. The main purpose of the Racing City Chorus is to get out and sing for the community. Vocal instruction is a regular part of chorus rehearsals and an important part of the chorus experience. Rehearsals are held each Tuesday night at 7:30pm.
