SARATOGA SPRINGS – Home Made Theater is pleased to announce that the Jonathan Foster Memorial Theater Arts Award has been given to Schuylerville High School senior Asa Dupras. Mr. Dupras has been actively involved in the theater community both at school as a member of the Schuylerville High School Drama Club, of which he is the Treasurer, and with community groups such as Saratoga Children’s Theatre and Chandler Music Hall in Randolph, Vermont.

In addition to his participation in theater related activities, Asa also serves as Schuylerville High School’s Senior Class President, Student Council President, is a member of the Symphonic Band and the Debate Club, and is his district’s representative to the New York State Board of Leadership and Student Activities.

Mr. Dupras is committed to attending Emerson College in the fall.

Home Made Theater is a non-profit Community Theater based in Saratoga Springs. Jonathan Foster co-founded Home Made Theater in 1985 and served as the Artistic Director until he passed away in 1995.

The Jonathan Foster Memorial Theater Arts Award is given each year to a graduating senior who intends to pursue courses in the theater arts.
