Congress Park Family Tour this Wednesday

SARATOGA SPRINGS – The Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation, in partnership with the Children’s Museum at Saratoga, offers a family friendly tour of Congress Park on Wednesday, July 15th at 10 am. The museum’s motto of “fun is not cancelled” is embodied in this 45-minute walking tour that highlights the history and architecture of Congress Park while providing families with a unique, socially distanced outdoor activity. Learn about the history of the springs, Canfield Casino, Spirit of Life & Spencer Trask Memorial, and the carousel. Tour meets at the Congress Spring under the pavilion.

Due to current restrictions in New York State, this tour will be limited to approximately 20 attendees, which is less than the maximum of 50 that is currently allowed, and tickets must be purchased in advance. Everyone will be required to wear a mask and social distancing will be encouraged when possible. The cost per tour is $10 for adults and $5 for children.

For additional information and to purchase tickets please visit www.saratogapreservation.org, call the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation at (518) 587-5030, or email Nicole Babie, Membership & Programs Director, at nbabie@saratogapreservation.org.
