SARATOGA SPRINGS – With so much to see and experience at the 33rd Annual Victorian Streetwalk, in Downtown Saratoga Springs on Thursday Evening, December 5th – we made sure that we got in plenty of street scenes; but paid particular attention to mega-covering the tree lighting kickoff, and of course, the highly anticipated arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus to their cottage at Broadway.
Along the way, we were pleasantly surprised by some impromptu caroling at Savory Pantry by cast members from the upcoming A Christmas Carol – something new – which will be performed throughout the Historic Canfield Casino on Sunday, December 15th; as well as a side trip to warm up at the Festival of Trees inside the Saratoga Springs City Center.
Wherever we roamed – one thing was constant: The genuine smiles from all ages. Signifying that this is a night like none other, in the 12866. And that doesn’t even count the surreal feeling you get as you walk along the center yellow stripe on Broadway!
Enjoy this gallery – For this photojournalist, it may get cold, but it never gets old. HoHoHo!
