Shrub Your Troubles Away at Savory Pantry

Whilst Streetwalking, one does tend to get cold… while many locations will be offering samples of warm cider that is suitable for all ages, Savory Pantry (486 Broadway) is kicking it up a notch for the grownups.

From 6-9 pm, Savory Pantry will be welcoming Emily from The Hudson Standard. Located in Hudson, NY, The Hudson Standard started from the desire to make high quality bitters and cocktail syrups, called shrubs, using ingredients almost entirely sourced from New York’s Hudson Valley. Emily will be making a Strawberry Rhubarb Margarita (no salt rim) using The Hudson Standard Strawberry Rhubarb Shrub and The Hudson Standard Ginger Bitters.

Shrubs and bitters have been known to shore up your reserves of energy for another round of outdoor gawking at ice sculptures, menorah’s on bicycles, saxophone-jamming Santas, and other Victorian spectacles.
