Benefiting Shelters of Saratoga – Tuesday, August 27
SARATOGA SPRINGS – Shelters of Saratoga (SOS) will hold its 13th annual One Fine Day event, a summer celebration in support of homeless services in the Greater Saratoga Region. This year’s event features music by David Ricci of Maltacoustics, boutique shopping at Lifestyles of Saratoga Pop-Up Shop, a silent auction, complimentary valet parking, and a complimentary signature drink. Community members are invited to attend and learn about the SOS mission to end homelessness in the region. Reservations begin at $85/person and can be made online at www.sheltersofsaratoga.org.
One Fine Day will be held on Tuesday, August 27th from noon-3 p.m. at Prime at Saratoga National Golf Club, 458 Union Ave., Saratoga Springs – 12866.
Proceeds raised at One Fine Day help to provide over 800 individuals with compassionate care through community outreach, the drop-in center, Code Blue emergency shelter, case managed shelters and affordable housing programs. Our One Fine Day committee hopes to exceed the goal of raising $50,000 at this event to support these community services.
Shelters of Saratoga programs strive to meet the needs of all adults, families and youth who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness in the Greater Saratoga region. Its programs provide beneficiaries with a full range of life-changing services through outreach, shelter, support services and affordable housing, which all facilitate movement towards stability and permanent, independent living.
