H.O.P.E. Walk – Sunday, June 9
SARATOGA SPRINGS – In point of fact, one might opine that they walk for the animals, so the animals might always walk with us.
That mutually-giving spirit, a bond between ‘best friend’ and their human(s), was once again in evidence at High Rock Park on Sunday, June 9, at H.O.P.E.’s (Home for orphan Pets Exist) Walk for the Animals. This was the 15th Annual iteration – a testimony to the enduring loyalty that this bond engenders.
For this photojournalist, an assignment like this has all the elements: A gorgeous, dry afternoon of sunny warmth; combined with cute pets, cute kids, and, because of the angle involved, many lower halves of adults!
(Also, I picked up a “Lucky” backstory, but was sworn to secrecy at this time… details forthcoming, watch this space….)
So, there’s a lot of H.O.P.E. going on around here; even more at HopeAnimalRescue.org – and plenty in the gallery that follows – enjoy!
